What grinds your gears on AdultFriendFinder?
Couples who list the woman as single because they think it will get them more attention.
I mean, c'mon...as a single guy possibly looking for a relationship, the last thing I want to do is see an attractive woman who comes up under the single heading in search and then you read her profile and find out she's married and looking for someone to play with her and her husband...

Men who are disrespectful toward the ladies!!! Not only is it general bad manners and a strategy that never works, but it makes things more difficult for the rest of us guys!
A close second is people (usually men, but sometimes women also) who are not willing to put any effort into this site, and who assume that just because they have the 'guts' to put up an adult profile their fantasy partners will flock to them. Welcome to reality!!! | ||

1: I'm with you there funguy. I also hate all the fake people on here here.They always want you to want to cam & will give you you a free pass to their site so you can see them cam they never want to cam on AdultFriendFinder.
2: The all talk & no action thing is way to common not only in the gang bang invite but in M&G's as well. I know thngs come up at the last minute and plans change.I think it's more of people being shy when it comes to meting people in person & would rather just live in the cyber world.It's easier to chat with people online & live out their fantasies that way.Online they can be any anyone they wish to be. | ||

Here's another observation that grinds my gears only because I respect the women who are on my network.
I hate looking at a woman's profile and seeing the same testimonial over and over...there's this one guy who must be in almost every woman's network and he keeps copying and pasting the same testimonial...what an insult to women.
I might not be the most politically correct gentleman you'll ever meet but I do know that when I post to someone's profile I try to be original to each one...
and Bon, you know where I'm coming from on my first post because we had a long conversation about people who mislead that night at the M&G months ago...lol

Totally agree with everything stated!
one thing that gets me is the friends network thing. people adding a whole bunch of people to their network just to say i have "x" number of friends who want me. kinda like the adult version of myspace. i'm not a big fan of that | ||

I get the same thing with men soliciting oral sex eeven though I have it on my profile that I'm not looking for that I know people on this site know how to read but, it seems that are just to lazy to read. They just look at the pics/vidoes instead of getting to know the person & what it is they are looking for. | ||

Ya know...I totally get why you say what you say on this. But I totally disagree. There are times when I just look and say "Really? Did you read my profile? Do you think I am going to travel to Egypt?" Of course that is extreme. I always put in my messages to people I do not know that I hope to hear from them, but if not that is perfectly okay. I just wanted them to know I was interested. And sometimes I message people I KNOW I am not their type. I just tell them that they have nice eyes, body, smile etc. Oh and cock.... My pet peeve is spelling and punctuation. That sounds really bitchy I know but at least put a period, question mark, exclamation point...ANYTHING....somewhere within the vicinity/zip code/county/jurisdiction of the end of a sentance. I agree Witty. I don't need to read a profile with as much detail as mine but please spell check what you did write (which is hopefully more than two sentences of uninformative dribble). I hate to read a profile where people are too lazy to use complete words.
I understand using abbreviations when you're text messaging on a phone because it makes for a shorter message but a profile is pretty much one and done with a few exceptions so there is no reason not to be grammatically correct...
Just say no to people who use, "ur" for you're and "2" for two among other abbreviations...lol...

Since we are on the subject of peoples profiles here.I know some people people have a hard time with what to say in a profile but, I see way to many prewritten profiles. How does a prewritten profile tell another anything about yourself or what you are looking for ? Another thing is a when they don't write anything but, looking for a fun time & don't fill out the whole profile. | ||

I've read all the posts and have been trying to decide what "grinds my gears", and while the things that bother most everyone are pretty much the same things that make me roll my eyes, ultimately I can't really say there is "one" (or even "two) things that irriate me more then the rest. Ultimately, I just kinda shrug my shoulders and keep in mind that this is a sex site. It is what it is. | ||

Here is a new pet peeve...well not really new, but just thought I would throw it out there. Messaging me and telling me how UNinterested you are in me because of certain things on my profile. Really? Why even bother? I got a message today from some guy in WYOMING (Uh okay...bit far even if you did not call me stupid for a relationship). He basically started in on the whole politics thing because I mention Ronald Reagan in my profile. Talking about how stupid Reagan was, how stupid Bush was and how stupid I must be just because I am from Texas. And johnsonfor69-I replied to him. Wanted to say "Fuck off ya elitest prick" but I did not. I played on the whole uneducated Texas thing. Used words like Darn, Shoot, and Ford F150. If he messages me back, I will then tell him to "Fuck off" and proceed to block him...lol. {=}Witty | ||

a recent pet peeve of mine is the whole instant messenger thing. i'll send a page to someone and hear nothing back or they'll accept chatting with me, then they dont say anything and leave... very very frustrating. a courtesy "hi" or "thanks but not interested" would suffice but the silent treatment is kinda worse. but then again, they probably get so many IMs so they just dont reply but its really about courtesy even thought its a sex site | ||
