In memory of all United States service members and their glorious sacrifices to keep us all safe, secure and free.

Under the torn flags of the regiment
they lie in ghastly heaps like so much
broken cord wood upon the savage
bloody battlefield with the acrid smoke
of the guns hovering over the torn bodies
of those brave soldiers who fought so
very courageously for the blue and the
grey on those terrible, bloody days at
Gettysburg (in the fight for union and freedom for all men ).
